2011 is AIM’s first year on Saratoga Lake. A contract was secured with the Saratoga Lake Protection and Improvement District (SLPID) to hand-harvest Eurasian milfoil for two weeks from a rock pile area on the Western side of the lake. The area had proven to be un-manageable via current practices on the lake (herbicide treatments and mechanical harvesting).
